Discounted the rose? I used to. I thought this was only a flower that a guy paid 3 times the price he should on valentines day. Now, I see this as the must have flower in your home. Cut them short, put them in small vases, display them on your kitchen table, powder room and don't forget your bedside table - what a nice way to start the day. Give roses a second chance...you'll be love it.
